At Henderson Veterinary Clinic we treat every animal “As if they were our own.”

Established over 60 years ago, it was one of the original clinics opened in Auckland.

Locally owned and operated by Auckland born and bred Veterinarian Nicole since 2024 when she was honoured to be offered the clinic by the previous owner of almost 40 years Brett who was a well-known and highly sought after clinician.

The dedicated team of experienced veterinary professionals blends warm neighbourhood service with uncompromising medical and surgical standards.

Whether your pet needs a routine check-up, vaccinations or microchipping, diagnostics, a dental or surgery you’ll find all general practice services under one roof.

Our purpose-built facility offers a gold-standard sterile theatre for soft-tissue and orthopaedic surgery, advanced dentistry, and complementary homeopathic options when appropriate. An in-house IDEXX laboratory and digital X-ray deliver rapid answers so treatment can start sooner. We can arrange ultrasound, echocardiogram and orthopaedic surgeries to be performed in-house by mobile veterinary clinicians with additional skill sets in those areas.

Giving back is part of our DNA: Henderson Vets donates to Pet Refuge each month and welcomes clients who wish to add their own contributions at reception.
